WHAT WE DO

Coastal Land Solutions, Inc. is a full service company of dedicated professionals providing land surveying, land planning, civil engineering, expert witness and GIS services throughout Southern California. 

We have been providing quality service since 2004 for public and private residential, commercial, industrial and institutional projects. We treat all projects and clients with the same standard of care and dedication that are necessary to produce accurate and consistent results.

We take pride in the relationships we have built over the years with local public agencies along with our accumulated knowledge of local ordinances, state laws, and standards of practice. We have established a reputation for being service-oriented and giving back to the communities we serve through civic service and community interaction.

Coastal Land Solutions is led by Mr. Sean Englert, a graduate of Purdue University Calumet with an Associates Degree in Civil Engineering Technology and a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Technology. Sean is a Professional Land Surveyor within the State of California, License No. 7959.

Sean has been working professionally in Land Development since 1997 and has managed or been in responsible charge of numerous public and private projects in Southern California. Sean served as President of the San Diego Chapter of the California Land Surveyors Association (CLSA) in 2008 and is a 2014 life member of the Orange County Chapter. He has been an active member since 2006 serving on numerous committees and representing the Chapter at the State level. He is a founding member of the Land Surveyors Advisory Council on Technical Standards (LSACTS) whose purpose is to research, review, debate and publish opinions and decisions issued by local, state, and federal courts whenever they relate to Land Surveying. Sean is also a member of the North County Civil Engineers and Land Surveyors Association.

Sean is active in local civic organizations, currently serving as a board member of the Encinitas Historical Society and as President of the Encinitas Preservation Association.

Registered Civil Engineer

Steve graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering. He has 22 years Land Development and Civil Engineering experience including both public and private sector work. Steve is registered in the State of California as Civil Engineer No. 65124 and is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers.
